Q:
I'm having problems with some of the functionality of your website. Why am I
not able to view the site as intended?
A:
This site is best viewed with
Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator 5.0 or above. Because we use some of
the latest web technologies, you may have problems if you don't have the latest
browser. In Internet Explorer, click Help...About Internet Explorer to
see which version you have. In Netscape, click Help...About Netscape.
If you need to upgrade, visit www.Microsoft.com
or www.Netscape.com.

Q:
I can't remember my password and/or user ID. What can I do?
A:
If you've forgotten your user
ID or password, go to the home page and click the Forgot your user ID or
password?
link in the Member Login box. Next, type the e-mail address
you used when you registered, then click Submit. You will receive an
e-mail from support@cmeweb.com containing your ID and password. (It's important
to keep your e-mail address current. If your e-mail address changes at any time
after you register, be sure to update it on the Your Account
page.)

Q:
How do I change my password and user ID?
A:
Click the Your Account link on the left side of the page, then click

On this page, you can change your password. User IDs cannot be changed once
they've been entered into the system. If you would like to change your user
ID, you must re-register.

Q:
I'm having problems logging into the site. What can I do?
A:
Make sure you're
using the correct user ID and password. See the above question for details.
Use an updated browser. See the first question on this page for details.
Keep your "cache directory" clean. Your Internet browser "remembers" where you've been by storing files in a temporary folder called the cache directory. If this folder isn't emptied periodically, it can interfere with your ability to log in. Here's how to empty the folder:
On the PC:
-
Under Tools, choose
Internet Options.
-
In the center of the window,
under Temporary Internet Files, click the Delete Files
button.
On the Macintosh:
-
Under Explorer, choose
Preferences.
-
Choose Advanced on
the left side of the window.
-
Click the Empty Now
button under Cache.
Turn off your popup prevention software.
Software intended to prevent popup ads may keep you from logging into our
site. If you have popup prevention software, please disable it before
logging in.

If you misplace a certificate and need to generate a new one, log into
the site, click the Your Course

Q:
I began taking a test but didn't have time to complete it. How can I
return to that test? If I've already answered some of the questions, will my
answers be saved?
A:
Yes. If you must leave a test before completing it, scroll to the bottom
of the Course Details page and hit the Save button. The computer will store
the test articles and your answers for you. To find them again, be sure
you're logged into the site, then click the Your Course History link on the
left side of the page. You'll see a list of any courses you've begun. Next,
